How does this online learning program work?
This is a self-discovery program which encourages staff to take control of their own learning through exploration and play. There will be no formal classes or workshops offered to support this program. Instead, staff are encouraged to work together and share their discoveries and "how to's" with each other both in person and through their blogs.

Is this program open to all LCLS staff?
Yes, this program is open to all LCLS staff regardless of position and status (full or part time). If you are not a member of the LCLS staff, you are welcome to follow along, however you will not be eligible for incentives.

How long do I have to complete the program?
The program kicks off September 10th and officially wraps up on November 21st. Staff who complete all 32 Things by November 21st will have their name entered in a drawing to qualify for one of three MP3 video players or for 'Time-Off-Work' certificates.

How do I get started?
Begin by reading the first page of our blog. Once you have an understanding of the program you will proceed to the link "Start Program." Details about the exercises and the links for that week will be posted here. So each week you will begin your journey here.

Can I work ahead ?
No. We have paced the program so that everyone will stay together. This allows adequate time and attention for each section.

What if I'm stuck on an exercise?
Since this program is self-directed and is being completed by staff throughout the system simultaneously, you are encouraged to work with colleagues along your discovery journey. Also, there is a branch team person you can go to for more guidance.
